We will post verified coffee and espresso gear deals on this page when they go live in November. Until then, you won’t find a single deal, discount or “expected price” below, because none of those exist yet. What is here: what went on sale in past years, what rarely does, and whether to buy each kind of gear now or wait. Black Friday is November 27, 2026 and Cyber Monday is November 30.

The short version

  • Big-ticket machines are the class most worth watching. Amazon’s own Black Friday announcements named coffee and espresso machines from Nespresso, Breville and De’Longhi in 2024, and Keurig, De’Longhi and Breville in 2025.
  • “Premium brands never go on sale” is not true. Fellow ran its own Black Friday sales in 2024 and 2025, and Baratza, Timemore and AeroPress have all run Black Friday offers.
  • A few names really are rarely discounted. Deal writers have said so about Gaggia, 1Zpresso and, outside the holidays, the Moccamaster.
  • Small gifts are not worth waiting for. The evidence is thin, and a discount on a small item is worth little next to the gift arriving on time.
  • Black Friday is not automatically the cheapest day. A 2025 study by the UK consumer group Which? found most products tracked were the same price or cheaper at some other point in the year.

Amazon has not announced its 2026 Black Friday event window as of the date above, so we are not guessing one. Here is what is fixed or officially announced.

What has gone on sale in past years, and what rarely does

Everything in this section is about pastsale seasons and comes from a dated, named source listed at the bottom of the page. None of it is a promise about 2026. Retailers change what they discount every year, and where we could not find evidence for a product type, we say so rather than fill the gap. We have also left out the old sale prices and percentages those articles quoted, on purpose: last year’s number is not this year’s deal, and printing it would look like one.

Espresso machines

This is the clearest pattern in the category. Amazon’s November 2024 Black Friday announcement listed “select coffee and espresso machines from Nespresso, Breville, and De’Longhi” among its highlighted deals, and its 2025 Black Friday highlights named espresso and coffee machines from Keurig and De’Longhi, along with Breville. The exception worth knowing is Gaggia: Tasting Table’s 2025 Black Friday espresso roundup said “there aren’t many discounts on Gaggia products for Black Friday, but there are minor savings to be had on the Gaggia Classic Evo Pro.” We found no evidence specific to the Breville Bambino, our top beginner pick, so we can only say its brand has been part of past events.

Nespresso machines and capsules

9to5Toys’ Black Friday 2024 coverage included Nespresso Vertuo Pop+ Deluxe machines “plus more machines and capsule packs.” Amazon’s 2025 highlights called out deals on Nespresso Original Line capsules. If you are buying a capsule machine as a gift, Black Friday is a reasonable time to look — just make sure you know which capsule system they use, because Vertuo, Original and K-Cup pods do not swap over.

Drip coffee makers

The Technivorm Moccamaster shows why patterns are not promises. In November 2023, 9to5Toys called its early Black Friday Moccamaster deals “relatively rare” and wrote that “price drops on these machines really don’t pop up all too often outside of the holidays.” But in July 2025, the same outlet called a Prime Day Moccamaster offer “the best deal of the year by a long shot.” For mainstream programmable machines like Cuisinart, we found no model-specific Black Friday evidence.

Grinders and kettles

Fellow is the strongest example of a premium brand running its own Black Friday sale. Its 2024 sale page ran from November 25 to December 2, noted that “exclusions apply,” and featured the Stagg EKG Pro kettle, the Ode Brew Grinder Gen 2 and the Tally Pro scale. Its 2025 Black Friday page advertised another sitewide sale that ended December 1, 2025. Sprudge recorded a Baratza offer on its Vario+ grinders in 2024 and a Timemore sale on select gear in 2025. At the other end, Home Coffee Expert says it doesn’t often find 1Zpresso grinders in the sales, and we found no evidence either way for Comandante. For budget kettles, Engadget’s 2024 Black Friday list described its Cosori gooseneck kettle deal as a discount it had seen multiple times that year.

One practical catch: brand-run sales like Fellow’s often happen on the brand’s own website. The buttons on this site link to Amazon, so a sale on a brand’s site may not show up in the prices you see here.

Smart mugs, tumblers and travel mugs

Drinkware has a solid Black Friday track record. Engadget reported that the Ember Mug 2 was available at “record-low prices” in both sizes for Black Friday 2024. Popular Science reported in November 2025 that Amazon had “dropped rare, massive Black Friday deals on Yeti drinkware.” We found no Black Friday evidence specific to Zojirushi, Contigo or Fellow Carter travel mugs.

Manual brewers

Gear Patrol reported that for Black Friday and Cyber Monday 2025, AeroPress “quietly dropped discounts across nearly its entire expanded lineup,” calling it “a rare chance,” and noted that “the same deals are also available directly from Amazon.” We found no verified Black Friday evidence for Chemex, Bodum or Bialetti.

Milk frothers and scales

This is the thinnest evidence in the category. Beyond Fellow’s Tally Pro scale in Fellow’s own sale, we found no verified Black Friday pattern for the Nespresso Aeroccino, Breville’s Milk Café or the budget scales we recommend. That doesn’t mean they won’t be discounted; it means there is no track record to plan a purchase around.

Coffee beans and gift sets

Sprudge’s 2024 and 2025 roundups list specialty roasters running Black Friday sales on their own websites, including sitewide offers from Stumptown Coffee. We could not verify a Black Friday offer for the Atlas Coffee Club sampler we recommend. Beans also come with a timing problem that gear doesn’t, which is covered below.

Buy now or wait for November? By product type

This is our read of the evidence above, not a prediction. “Wait” means the product type has been discounted in past Black Friday events, not that it will be this year. And whatever the table says, if the gift is needed before late November, buy it when you need it.

Why beans are the exception

Coffee is the one gift where waiting for a sale can make the present worse. The National Coffee Association puts the shelf life of roasted beans at one to three weeks at room temperature. A bag bought in late November and handed over at the end of December has been sitting for about a month. If you want to buy coffee in a Black Friday sale, buy gear then and the beans closer to the day, or give it to someone who will open it straight away. Our guide to storing coffee beans explains why.

Don’t forget October

Amazon has announced Prime Big Deal Days for October 6 and 7, 2026. It is a Prime-member event rather than Black Friday, and we have no information on which coffee products will be in it. But the Moccamaster example above is a reminder that good prices do not only land in November, so if you are watching a big purchase, keep an eye on October too.

These are the site’s current top picks in each type of coffee gear, with the price Amazon was charging when our prices were last pulled on September 15, 2026. They are not Black Friday deals. They are here so you have a real, dated price to compare against when the sales arrive. If a button shows a struck-through price, that is the list price Amazon reports for the listing today. It is Amazon’s reference figure, not a deal we have checked, and the section below explains how to read it.

How to tell a real deal from a dressed-up one

The struck-through “was” price is the most persuasive thing on a sale page and the least reliable. A few facts help you read it.

The law cares whether the old price was real.The Federal Trade Commission’s Guides Against Deceptive Pricing say a former price is a legitimate basis for a comparison when it was “the actual, bona fide price at which the article was offered to the public on a regular basis for a reasonably substantial period of time.” Where an inflated price was set up just so a big reduction could be advertised later, the guides call the bargain “a false one.”

Amazon uses more than one kind of reference price.According to Amazon’s own explanation, a List Price is the suggested retail price provided by a manufacturer, supplier or seller, which Amazon says it validates against sales and competitor prices. A Typical Price is the median price customers actually paid on Amazon over the past 90 days, not counting limited-time promotions. A saving measured against what people have actually been paying tells you more than one measured against a suggested retail price.

Black Friday is often not the lowest price of the year.In a 2025 study, Which? tracked 175 appliances at eight UK retailers, including Amazon, for a year around the 2024 sale. It found that 83 per cent were the same price or cheaper at least once outside the four-week Black Friday period, and that on Black Friday itself no deals were at their cheapest of that year. That is UK data, but US research points the same way: Consumers’ Checkbook told WTOP in 2025 that after six months tracking prices at 25 major retailers, “pretty much all the markdowns” it saw at most stores weren’t special prices.

What that means for you. Know what the thing normally costs before the sale starts. That is exactly why the top-picks grid above shows a dated price today: note it, and compare it with the Black Friday price in November rather than with the struck-through figure. And check you are looking at the exact model we recommend, not a similarly named cousin.

How we will post deals when they go live

When Black Friday events start in November, we will add a deals section to the top of this page. The rules for it are the same rules that already run the rest of this site, and they are worth stating before any deal appears:

  • Only products we already recommend.A deal on something we wouldn’t suggest at full price is not a deal worth your time.
  • Only live, dated prices.Every price comes from our daily Amazon check and carries the date it was pulled. If the check stops running, prices expire after 48 hours and the button reverts to “Check price on Amazon” rather than showing an old number.
  • No invented urgency.No countdown timers, no “up to” percentages we cannot check, and no “lowest price ever” claims we have not verified.
  • The same honest notes. Every pick still says who it suits and who should skip it. A discount does not change whether something is the right gift.

Black Friday 2026 is Friday, November 27, the day after Thanksgiving, which falls on Thursday, November 26, 2026 according to the U.S. Office of Personnel Management's holiday schedule. Cyber Monday is Monday, November 30, 2026. Retailers often start their events earlier: Amazon's Black Friday Week began November 21 in 2024 and November 20 in 2025, but Amazon had not announced its 2026 dates when this page was last updated.

Are there Black Friday coffee deals right now?

No. As of September 15, 2026, when this page was last updated, Black Friday deals had not started, and we will not list deals that do not exist. We will post verified deals here when they go live in November. Amazon has announced a separate Prime Big Deal Days event for Prime members on October 6 and 7, 2026.

Do espresso machines go on sale for Black Friday?

Historically, many have. Amazon's 2024 Black Friday announcement listed coffee and espresso machines from Nespresso, Breville and De'Longhi, and its 2025 highlights named Keurig, De'Longhi and Breville.
