A coffee gift guide for the rest of us — the people buying for someone else who love coffee, without necessarily loving coffee ourselves.

Drip & Dose exists for one specific person: the gift buyer. You’re shopping for a coffee lover — a partner, a parent, a coworker, a friend — and you want to get them something genuinely good without needing a degree in espresso first. Every guide here is built for you, not for the barista: sorted by who you’re buying for and what you want to spend, in plain English, with honest “skip this” notes and live prices.

Who writes this

I’m Stephen — an enthusiast who’s genuinely into coffee and, honestly, into finding gifts people actually use. I’m not a barista, a Q-grader or a food scientist, and I don’t pretend to be. What I bring is a real habit of picking gifts for people: matching the gear to the person, thinking in price tiers, and asking the only question that matters — will they actually use this?

I read the manuals, compile the published specs, and compare live prices so you don’t have to. I have not run these products through a lab, and I’ll never claim I did. That honesty is the whole point of the site — and it’s exactly what our how we choose page lays out.

What we will never do

Invent star ratings, review counts or testimonials. If we can’t source it, it isn’t here.
Claim we lab-tested gear we don’t own. We research and compile; we say so plainly.
Show a stale price. Every price is pulled live and dated, and expires on its own if the daily check stops.
Let a commission change a recommendation. Where a cheaper option is the better gift, that’s our pick.
