Independence

Our recommendations are ours. We do not accept payment for placement, for a positive review, or for a spot on a list. No brand can buy its way into a “best of” ranking on Drip & Dose. We earn money through affiliate commissions (see the affiliate disclosure), and those commissions never influence which product wins — where a cheaper, lower-earning option is the better gift, that’s our pick.

How recommendations are made

Every pick is chosen for gift fit, reasoned from the products’ published specs and honest “who it’s for / who should skip it” judgment. Our full method is on the how we choosepage. In short: we compile specs from the manufacturer and retailer listings, compare live prices, and recommend what a real person would be glad to receive — without claiming hands-on lab testing we haven’t done.

Sourcing and accuracy

• Factual claims (like caffeine content) are cited to a reputable source — the FDA, the National Coffee Association, Mayo Clinic — not asserted from memory.
• Product specs link to the listing they were read from, with the date we read it.
• Prices are pulled live and dated; we never publish a stale or invented price.
• We never fabricate star ratings, review counts or testimonials.

Corrections

We’d rather be corrected than be wrong. If you spot a mistake — a wrong spec, a broken link, a price that looks off — email info@dripanddose.com or use the contact page. We check reported errors against the source, and when we’re wrong we fix the page and note that it was corrected, rather than quietly overwriting it.

Update cadence

Prices update continuously through our live data layer. Our top gift guides and product roundups are reviewed and refreshed regularly — picks change as models are discontinued, replaced or repriced — and each page shows a truthful “last updated” date. Seasonal guides are refreshed ahead of the holidays.

AI and automation

We use software to keep prices current and to keep the site’s structure consistent. Editorial judgment — which products to recommend, what to say about them, and who to steer away from a pick — is made by a human, and every page is written to be genuinely useful to a real gift buyer, not to a search engine.
